Maybe we’ll get some blown-outta-the-water from the showfloor, but as far as the conferences go it was a snorefest. Very few new things outta any company, and nothing new was unexpected. Nintendo had the potential to be the big victor with the MotionPlus, but decided Wii Sports 2 should be the unveiling game for it. LAME. Victory goes to Microsoft, and yes I will be buying a 360 in the next month. World ending.
Of interest to some maybe, I met with a marketing rep for TAP Interactive the other day. They own a little site you may of heard of called EscapistMagazine, not to mention a very funny little Australian guy. The guy I met with actually roomed with Yahtzee at GDC, which he said was quite the funny time. Interesting things are afoot in the triangle area for gaming, and I may get the chance to be a part of it. More info soon.

And so begins my journey into the wonderful world that is the games industry. Even if that journey starts with $10/hr working in customer service and banning people selling gold in a MMO. xP

So in my never-ending improvement of web design skills, I was doing some SEO (Search Engine Optimization) research and decided to evaluate my business site using Google’s Webmaster Tools. Some of the results of how Google evaluates my site came as a bit disheartening…
Basically, while the top few associated terms are what I would […]

There are three people in the game critic industry who I have an immense love and respect for. Self-proclaimed charismatic stallion Yahtzee delivers one of the most entertaining videos of my week every week, and always nailing games over the head usually with a good taste of what they deserve. Matt Casamassina I suppose […]

Yeah, that’s right, Capcom apparently actually might love it’s fans and is giving us the kinda service we want with “Gyakuten Kenji”, aka the other side of the bench from Ace Attorney. It looks to be a cross between the classic Ace Attorney style and a more Adventure/RPG-like exploration system for investigating. The thing […]

I’ve been saying it all day (and we’re only 7 hours in!), and I’ll continue to say it all day.
DeviantArt has changed ALL users icon to this piece of awesomeness:
The SmashBoards have epic filters. “Smash” becomes “Halo”, “Brawl” = “Melee”, “Marth” = “Yaoi”, “Sonic” = “Sonic Boom, Sonic Boom, Sonic Boom, Sonic […]

I have been very open to friends (and strangers) in my love for Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, of which has become my single favorite anime, nay, my single favorite piece of moving pictures entertainment ever.
However, conveying this love to others who have not been born again in the spiral energy is hard to do […]

Yup, they’re at it again…
Sadly there wasn’t a protest within a few hundred miles of me and I didn’t know ’til about a week ago, but I with all of my being I am planning to go to the next one. Placing my order for that mask soon… ;D
Kinda sad I haven’t posted since […]
